I’m showing you step-by-step and week-by-week for the next four weeks, how to build a successful business blog that will have your target market reading your posts, buying your products and “begging for more.”

Here’s how it works: If you work and complete the activities step-by-step each week for the next four weeks, by the end of May your blog could become the “go to blog” in your market.

You don’t have to create a new blog – you can begin using the new techniques and ideas with your current blog. There are worksheets, a video or two and much, much more.

Week #1 – The Business Basics – Why You Need a Business Blog

This week is all about building the foundation for a successful business blog. It’s about preparing yourself to be a consistent blogger and, getting your blog ready to become a consistent business-building and marketing tool. We’ll also cover other basics you’ll want to know and understand, as you’re becoming the go-to blogger in your field.

Week #2 – How To Get Your Target Market and Customers Engaged In Your Blog

Consistently writing a blog is important, but just as important is getting your reader engaged and participating in your blog. Reader participation can make the difference between becoming the must read go-to blog in your field or, being just another blog on the Internet. Get ready to roll up your sleeves and start blogging.

Week #3 – Tips For Finding New Ideas to Keep Your Blog Fresh and Up-to-Date

You’ll find practical how-tos for staying up-to-date with your blogging and posting. The key to a well-read and recommended blog is relevancy and consistency. It is up to you to find a routine and rhythm for your content researching, writing and posting – I’ll show you how. This week is our Virtual Tea live call.

This week we are digging deeper into 7 powerful ways to reach your target market and become recognized as the go-to person in your field. You’ll find a how-to video, audio and workbook – it’s really a mini-ECourse on becoming an expert in your field.

Week #4 – Is the recording and worksheets from our April 16, 2013 Virtual Tea With Sharon. You’ll want pen and paper handy to make notes and jot down “aha’s” as you listen to, “It’s Okay To Brag On Yourself.”

Sales Isn’t a Dirty Word!

Happy New Year! Your potential for achieving your goals is truly unlimited in 2013 – I’m excited for you!

This month we are focusing on mindset of “selling.” Here’s a fact of business life: To stay in business, you must be consistently selling a product or service to your target market.
Where does your sales success begin? In your mind!

Your sales mindset and selling attitude will come across to potential clients and customers as either negative or positive. In fact, you may not even be aware of which mindset or attitude you’re projecting to others. Much of what we believe about sales and our ability to sell is locked deep in our unconscious minds – that is what we will be exploring this month.

This week you’ll find a short “motivational” video with some of my favorite thought provoking sales quotations.

Our activities this week focus on the nine Belief Building Worksheets. My suggestion is to take your time and answer the questions carefully. The goal is to begin to better understand your belief about your ability to “sell.”

You’ll also find four interesting articles about sales – these will help you to better understand some general sales concepts.

Week #2

A how-to video with some good time management tips to help focus your energy on working with “qualified” prospects.

An in-depth Special Report that outlines step-by-step the “buying process.” This Special Report will give you an idea of how to plan out your sales presentations. This Report is one you will definitely want to keep in your resource library.

There is also a Sales Preparation Checklist to help you remember everything you’ll need before you leave for a sales appointment or meeting.

Week #3

This week is all about “sales communication.” In a nutshell, we’ll be discussing how to ask great questions so you can determine your buyer’s wants and needs. It’s all about talking less and listening more.

You’ll find a  list of general open-ended questions to ask your potential customers.

Week #4

You’ll be learning how to ask for the sale! I’ve found that many of us lose potential customers by not asking them to buy. Yes, that’s true – we don’t close the sale because we are not asking our prospects to buy our product or service. You’ll find a video with special “tie-downs” for closing the sale.

I’ll also give you a worksheet so you can begin to fine-tune your knowledge of the benefits of your product or service. You’ll have more self-confidence to ask for the sale when you fully understand how your product/service benefits your target market.

Week #5

You’ll find the recording and PowerPoint slide handouts from our Virtual Tea with Sharon – Using Your Intuition To Close Sales.

This week you’ll find tips and how-tos for following up with prospects and customers. And, I’ll also show you step-by-step how to ask for referrals.

It’s time to look back and to go forward. That’s exactly what we are going to do this month, review 2012 and plan an even more successful 2013. Each week we’ll be heading toward the New Year one step closer to knowing what we want to achieve in 2013 and how we’re going to achieve it.

Week #1 Looking Back

You’ll be assessing your business building strategies for 2012 and deciding what worked well and what you’re going to change in 2013. Included is a quick financial check up for 2012 – are you where you want to be financially? You’ll find a great fun story about “task overload.” And, finally you’ll find a motivational mini-poster reminding you to make time to learn from the past and then, head positively forward.

Week #2 Deciding What’s Important In 2013

It’s time to write your 2013 mission statement. I’ll show you step by step how to clearly “see” your upcoming year. Then, you’ll write out your BIG goals for the New Year. I’ll walk you through how to find those goals that will consistently tap into your inner motivators – the goals you’ll enjoy achieving.

Week #3 Writing a Doable Step-by-Step Plan of Action

It’s good to set goals but, they won’t become reality without a realistic and doable plan of action. I’ll show you how to develop a personal, professional and financial plan of action. There will be a checklist you can run off and use during the year. There’s also a quick quiz to help determine your strengths and any potential challenges for the coming year.

Week #4 Getting Organized and Fortifying Your Unstoppable Resolve
